What independent means here
We’re here to help you compare schools, not sell you a place at one. We don’t rank schools by medals, fees or claims we can’t verify. We haven’t added school commissions or affiliate links to this edition.
What our labels mean
- Source checked: we read the linked source on the date shown for the facts we share. It doesn’t mean we’ve checked every detail; missing information is still unknown.
- Research pending: we’ve found a school or opportunity, or kept a record from the original project, but haven’t verified its current details.
- Past edition: these dates have passed. You can use them for context, but you can’t register for that edition now.
An initial collection, not a census
We haven’t covered every ballet school in Singapore or every international competition. We’re building the list as we check sources, so an absent school or event isn’t a judgement about its quality.
Judges and opportunities are edition-specific
When we list a judge or workshop teacher, we’re sharing what the organiser published for that event. It doesn’t tell you about their current employment, future panels or personal preferences. Organisers can change event details after we check them.
Guidance, not guarantees
Our checklists give you things to talk about with your child, teacher or school. They can’t guarantee progress, a scholarship, admission or a dance career. Questions about physical safety need advice from a suitably qualified professional.
Legacy project material
We’ve kept the original project’s school-specific pages rather than remove them. They aren’t part of our independent editorial guides, and we leave them out of the resource sitemap.
