NEW TO BALLET

A good beginning. At your own pace.

If you’re exploring ballet for your child, you can start here without choosing a long-term path today.

You don’t have to plan it all before the first class.

Maybe your child loves dancing at home. Maybe you’re looking for a weekly class, or wondering what a more structured programme involves. You can start with one lesson and see how it feels.

  1. 01 · FIND OUT WHAT THE CLASS INVOLVESA chat with the school can help you picture the lesson: the age group, how long it lasts and how new children settle in.
  2. 02 · MAKE A PRACTICAL SHORTLISTThe journey, timetable, teaching and full costs matter too. Our school list can help you compare options; it isn’t a ranking.
  3. 03 · TRY A CLASS WITHOUT PRESSUREYou may not need a new uniform yet. The school can tell you what to wear and explain the trial terms before you book.
  4. 04 · LISTEN, THEN DECIDEWhat did your child enjoy? Was anything unfamiliar? You can talk it through with the teacher before deciding whether to enrol.
